Tha Rua Shrine Phuket Thailand is the 4th oldest and the largest chinese shrine on Phuket Island. You cant miss it when going from or to the airport and Phuket Town. The shrine is a great place for the camera and not that busy except during the Chinese New Year in FEB and the Vegetarian Festival in Oct. Several centuries ago chinese from souther china came to Phuket to work in the tin minds. With them brought their religion and culture.
Located Phuket Island, Thailand on the main road 402 from the airport to Phuket Town, just south of Heroines Monument. It is a Taoist shrine and is open 6-18:00. Avoid wearing black. Map to get there here is the LINK
