Couple of my favorite temples that are not on the must see list
In Phuket Wat Chalong is on every ones list and it is beautiful and worth the visit. For a Chinese shrine, Tha Rue is also large and beautiful and a must see! I have articles on both and can click to see. But for a beautiful Wat that is not visited by tourist and is peaceful with a flower garden and faces the ocean its Wat Sapum Thammaram . The best time for photos here is early morning as it faces east. I have an article on more and map so click on the LINK to go there. The Chinese shrine that is out of the way, new and in good shape is Guanau-Nabon Its between Phuket Town and Chalong and click on the link for a map to get there and more photos. The best time for photos here is late in the evening. Best to not wear sleeveless shirts, and take off shoes before entering the temples. Modesty

Thank you Both are not over run with tour buses. The Wat is used mainly by locals peaceful and usual a breeze. The chinese shrine is off the beaten path and kinda hard to find. jackie
