Killing fields in Phnom Penh



I could only get a fan room on the first night in Phnom Penh and sweated all night as a result. The following day was spent walking around the town and generally recovering from the journey the day before. I made the most of a lounge around day to get my washing done and also organise my visa for Vietnam. It would seem that the majority of guesthouses and hotels can arrange the visa for you. I had been a bit reluctant to do this, fearing that I would never see my passport again but I got my passport back the day after. $65 was the price for the visa; it was convenient and quick, no need to fill in any forms or make any bookings for flights in and out of the country.
