“Life is a great adventure” I did not come up with that and many have said it.  But for me at 55 when I first came to SE Asia for the first time, the greatest adventure of my life started.

Along my journey here in Asia, I would like to share a little of my adventure and maybe help or encourage your journey in SE Asia. My passion is photography, so I tell more of my story through photography.   We love to travel and share what we see and learn.  We cover SE Asia with more about Thailand now.  The culture, places to see on the must see and off the beaten path, food and recipes places to eat, places to stay, culture, education, art, and share our pictures.  We will sometimes bring you a journey outside of SE Asia, when the chance comes along, so enjoy.

When I was a young boy growing up in the US my family always had LIFE Magazine on the coffee table. I love the magazine, easy to read and love the photos. We are trying to follow their example.

LIFE’s motto became, “To see Life; to see the world.”  

From their very beginning their goal was

“We wish to have some fun in this paper… We shall try to domesticate as much as possible of the casual cheerfulness that is drifting about in an unfriendly world… We shall have something to say about religion, about politics, fashion, society, literature, the stage, the stock exchange, and the police station, and we will speak out what is in our mind as fairly, as truthfully, and as decently as we know how.”  “pictures could tell a story instead of just illustrating text”.

We believe that also and we want to have some fun and To see Life is to see the World.  We will cover culture, travel, food, life in SE Asia and the adventure of travel.  We will tell our journey with a strong focus on photography just as Life Magazine did.
