Novotel Phuket is a great place for a holiday stay just off Patong Beach Thailand On my first trip to Thailand a friend and I both booked separate rooms here.
Its sits on a hill overlooking Patong Bay and is just far enough away to be quite and a sense of seclusion. But is just a very short walk to the beach and all the shops, vendors.

I had the Superior Suite with a balcony overlooking Patong Bay.

This was my first trip to Thailand after spending 1 yr in the middle east so wanted to relax and explore. Spent most of our time at the pools and exploring and enjoying Patong Beach and nightlife!
Pool
Novotel Phuket Resorts spectacular three-tiered pool is an ideal spot to cool off after basking under the brilliant sun. Surrounding the pools cascading waters are no less than six restaurants and bars.
Dining and Lounges
My favorite place in the evening was the V Lounge with an ocean view. There is an outside lounge and 3 very nice restaurants. The drinks and food at all were very good as well as the service.

Overall I would rate as above average, with friendly staff. There are steep grades as the resort is on a hill. That may cause some difficulty getting around the resort for some.
