Probably the best Museum in Hanoi, and certainly in all Vietnam on collections and display of artifacts, costumes and architectures related to the 53 ethnic minorities living by side of the Viet people from North to South Vietnam. The garden is an impressive reproduction of traditional houses of most hilltribes and a small boutique sells quality handmade products from the tribes. A very good introduction to the endless topic of ethnography in Indochina. The museum has benefited massively from the collections of Ecole Francaise d Extreme Orient (EFEO) in Hanoi, and from the huge ethnographic mapping and work carried since a century in fields studies and university research on the matter.
