When travelling on a different airline for the first time you are always dubious about the travel experience you are about to encounter. Sadly, the norm for expectations for an airline is very low. Everyone always has something to say and complain about every airline throughout the globe.

Air Asia however blew my mind. With all passengers having to line up and check in at the desk, I prepared myself for that long, dragging wait. The staff surprised us all and were extremely fast and efficient. Don Meung airport is a great hub for Air Asia as throughout security and immigration the airport maintained the same efficiency and service that Air Asia strives for.

Air Asia are also very lenient with many travellers able to take their backpacks…
