Life is good.  Halloween was a blast and I finally got to actually experience the night life of Phnom Penh after being here for more than 4 months.  The kiddie pool that we have on our balcony is not completely deflated and it has offered our feet a welcome respite after walks and bike rides in the 30 degree heat, however, it is a bit dirty (we’re thinking that a good ol’ fashioned fish tank pump and filter would solve that problem pretty quickly).  Our garden looks fantastic with all it’s new flowers including roses, jasmine, crocosmia lucifer, and a few that we have yet to identify.  Our cat becomes more and more comfortable every day and has even started to sit on the edge of the balcony wall which offers a fantastic vantage point since it’s three stories up.  The wood-working class that I’ve been teaching at school is…
