Wayfaring As One

The Reunification Palace, or Palace of Independence is a relic from the war. The building has been left virtually untouched since it was abandoned in 1975, when the Palace was seized and the President of South Vietnam fled the country, signalling the end of the war and the reunification of the country.

Set on 12 hectares of land in the middle of HCM City the Palace was designed by a Vietnamese architect and its layout represents humanity, intelligence and strength among other concepts. This can be seen visually in the similarity with the Chinese characters of these ideas.
