The temple has a long history and is old temple about 1200 years old. Open daily 8 am. – 5 pm. The local people there just call this temple is Wat Pha, inside have big Buddha Statue name is Luang Phor Tho was built by the cement and brick with a height 23.47 meters, by around 11.20 meters. Inside of The Buddha Statue have the relics at 36 parts.
This temple is important of literature “Khun Chang – Khun Phan” , on the wall have painting murals in Wat Pha Lay-Lai talk about 3 lover by 2 men with 1 lady and she was alleged the lady’s 2 minds and killed her by death penalty. the all painting murals just beautiful photos and great to learn about old Thai culture too.
