A chef's atlas

Every weekend after the midday heat has passed, a few roads just South of the old city gets blocked off to welcome the many hundreds of market stalls to set up. From 4pm to late in the evening a fantastic walking market get set up welcoming so many people ( both local and tourists).

You can probably find everything here from a bite to eat ( which unfortunately we didn’t have-but recommend) to bags, purses and jewellery. When they say a walking market, it definitely does mean it. The stalls are endless, taking about 20minutes to walk just one way!

There are crowds of people that pack into the streets to see what is on offer. I would suggest going early at the beginning or around 8.30ish, to avoid the biggest crowds. As the heat, humidity and lots of people are really my (and most peoples) kind of thing. Just…
