Phuket is a tropical island with great beaches with lot of subjects to photography. With the sandy beaches, blue waters, sunsets, great view points, little bars, cafes, coconut trees, and the local people families playing what more could a photography ask for! My favorite time is late in the evening and I like clouds to add for drama and energy. There are isolated remote almost empty beaches and the beach with plenty of people. These are some of my favorite beach photographs. I have lived here 8 years and only been to a few, so not an expert source of where to go but just share and maybe interest you on visiting Phuket Thailand with your camera. For a great source of all the beaches is Willy Thuan Phuket 101. He also has a google map showing you the location of beaches and a description. Some updated info on beaches around Phuket. The recent government has ordered many of the beach clubs and small bars etc that have encroached the beaches to move and the chairs. More beach area and I think in the future more beauty. I have left my photos of past photos but remember many changes.
