Any traveler who wants to discover unique cultural aspects in the capital of the former British colony of Burma must make a tour of the main pagodas of the city. Myanmar is one of the most devout Buddhist country and the people respect for traditions and their devotion to religion unlost in the years of the complete political isolation can be observed everywhere. The glittering gold of pagodas and temples are  practically all around. Even if had just a little time in Yangon, we got the chance to see different angles of Sule Paya from the car, Botataung Paya from inside, and especially to spend hours in the famous Shwedagon Paya, one of Buddhism’s most sacred sites and a  true wonder of the world.
