Wat Sapum Thammaram
Located Phuket Thailand just north of Phuket Town. A quite and lovely place to visit with a camera or just to enjoy the beauty. I have been there twice and have not seen a tourist. It is used by the local Thais and is not on the tourist list. When trying to find out more, could not find any info. It is on a main road between Phuket Town and the airport, but sits up on a hill and is very easy to miss. Well worth the trouble to find and spend little time before others discover it. It is next to a large Thai burial grounds. There is no parking along the main road, but headed to Phuket Town, drive just pass it to the first road on the left and up the steep hill. First little road to the left leads to the temple. A good time is early morning as the Wat faces east and you can see the Andaman Sea. The morning sun will help in the photographs. East of the temple are some steps to a small garden. I saw a Thai wedding party taking photos there. Not big but take a look! map to find and get there. Part 2 will show the Garden
